About Us

Private Middle & High School for students with Learning Differences. We have a safe and loving environment for students to learn and grow. We incorporate life, social, job, and executive functioning skills training that includes cooking and shopping weekly. Students work on budgeting daily and do daily chores to keep our school environment clean. PFLA provides a therapeutic environment that includes ball chairs, visual supports, behavioral supports, and much more. We want to help a child gain progress in all areas of their life not just academically. We meet regularly with parents to review their progress and use standardized measures in several areas. We want our students well rounded as they graduate and we include graduation plans starting at 9th grade. We offer full time and part time options. We take the FES-UA Scholarship to help support the financial requirements to attend. We attain teachers and staff with an average of over 20+ years working with students with unique abilities. We want to help your child be independent in many areas and increase their confidence as they learn new skills. Come check us out! What we do is unique in the Central Florida area.
