About Us
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the most comprehensive non-profit organizations in the country, founded in 1912 by Ms. Helena Devereux to support individuals with unique needs. Today, Devereux operates a broad continuum of behavioral healthcare services through a unique model that connects the latest scientific and medical advancements to practical, effective interventions in the treatment of behavioral health. Devereux established operations in Florida in 1987 to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of youth and has grown to a statewide operation serving over 5,000 children and families each day – including residential treatment, foster care and community-based programs. Hundreds of children and families throughout the West Orange community receive direct support through Devereux's services.
