American Cancer Society

Megan specializes in nonprofit development, strategic fundraising, and event planning. She is a Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society and manages two growing events- Men Wear Pink Central Florida and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Volusia-Flagler. Most recently, she was a Development Manager at the ALS Association, where she led and grew the Central Florida market for the past two years. Prior to her impactful work at the ALS Association, she was a Volunteer Partnerships Director at Foundation Academy for four years, where she excelled in fostering community engagement and building strong, lasting relationships. Her expertise in development and volunteer management has been instrumental in driving successful initiatives and making a positive difference in the communities she serves.

As an Event, Fundraising, & Nonprofit professional, Emily currently oversees the event execution and fundraising efforts as the Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) Volusia-Flagler, a 5k noncompetitive walk aimed to provide a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and for the virtual campaign execution and fundraising efforts of Men Wear Pink Central Florida, a campaign that invites ambassadors to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer.
